Privacy Policy
Effective October 19, 2026
The short version: Meridia keeps your birth details and your people on your iPhone. There are no accounts, no ads, no analytics and no tracking. We don't collect or sell any personal information.
What Meridia stores
To draw your map, Meridia saves the birth details you enter (name, date, time and birthplace), the people you add, and your settings, like your theme. All of this is stored only on your device. It is never sent to us, because we don't run any servers.
Apple Maps
Meridia uses Apple Maps to show the globe and to search for places. When the map loads or you search for a city, those requests go to Apple, which handles them under Apple's privacy policy. Your birth details are not part of these requests.
What we don't do
- No accounts or sign-in
- No advertising or ad tracking
- No analytics or third-party tracking tools
- No selling or sharing of your information
Beta testing
If you test Meridia through Apple's TestFlight, Apple may share crash reports and any feedback you choose to send with us, as described in TestFlight's own terms. You can turn this off in TestFlight.
Deleting your information
You can edit or remove anyone in the app at any time. Deleting Meridia from your iPhone removes everything it stored.
Children
Meridia is not directed to children under 13, and we don't knowingly collect information from anyone.
Changes
If Meridia ever starts handling your information differently, for example to offer a new feature, we'll update this page and change the date at the top before it happens.
